This is the final release of my Kaleidoscope 2.0 scheme, Akzent. I got the name because it sounded like a cool way to say "Accent", which was what I was going to call it. Before "Accent" I even considered "Tabs", but I thought that was too obvious.
You may find it strange to use at first. I know I did. You can't make a popup window by actually dragging the title of the window, you must grab the section between the close box and grow box, or grab part of the border on the top.
Bug Fixes/Changes:
• Added enhanced progressbars - Some applications still do not draw these correctly. I don't think this is a bug in the scheme, but in the application. The progressbars, as well as the intermediate progressbars draw correctly in the Appearance Sample App.
• Added slider controls
• I think I *finally* figured out the deal with the bevel buttons. They should all have the correct number of "bevels" now. I also changed the colors. Now, an active bevel button is green, and a pressed one is red. This seems to look better.
• Changed up a few of the icons
• Changed the cursor (again), and added cursors to go with the contextual menu, alias, and copy cursors.
Still Problems:
There are still two problems that I can't figure out how to fix, so you'll have to live with them ;-)
• popup windows still can not be resized correctly from left to right. They can be resized, but the title will jump around when you do it.
• Text "tails" will go below the title text area. This is really not a problem, and usually is not noticed unless it's in a popup window. I've tried moving the text area around, and can't find a good way to fix this, unless I make the white text box bigger, which I don't care to do.
That's A Wrap:
I hope you like the scheme! If you find any problems, or just want to tell me how great/sorry it is, send me a note:
